Longwood Medical Area - Dana Farber Campus Planning

Stephen Moore led a study team for the Medical Academic and Scientific Community Organization (MASCO). The study included a set of graphics showing the growth of the area from 1990 to 1999, current projects underway, and potential sites indicated for growth..
In conjunction with this study for MASCO, Dana-Farber asked to put together a campus study of potential growth for its internal use. Campus sections and several versions of a 3D massing were created for a presentation to the board of trustees of the institution. A campus map was also provided, to indicate the complete reach and proximity of the campus.
The study was well-received and prompted a go-ahead for a master plan for phase one and the design and construction of a new clinical tower for the institution that would serve as the new iconic gateway for the Dana-Farber campus.
