The Ocean Edge Resort and Club engaged map-lab to manage property-wide renovations across its 400-acre campus. With construction already in progress, map-lab re-evaluated project goals and establish priorities for the owner, while maintaining the momentum already established. After revising the project budget and schedule, map-lab highlighted areas of value to the owner and helped them to rethink project objectives in these terms.
map-lab’s most important role was to manage the intricate coordination required to bring all necessary parties together. By facilitating and managing communications between the guest and member staff, map-lab was able to coordinate the heavily detailed schedule with the contractor, designers, consultants, and vendors to assure minimal disruption. This process allowed the staff to focus on their core business needs while satisfying the owner with continued progress and completing the project on schedule and under budget.
