Fact: map-lab managed multiple design workshops which invited staff and visitors to propose ideas for the new masterplan for the museum.

map-lab was selected to help Katherine Honey and Gary Demers realize their vision for the new Museum at the Mill. We coordinated collaborative design workshops for museum staff and exhibitors to come up with ideas that would lead to an overall master plan for the museum.

map-lab also field measured over 100,000 square feet of the existing mill building to create floor plans to be used for master planning efforts, growth and expansion strategies, and for meetings with building inspectors and other public agencies.
In addition, the floor plans created by map-lab were used by the museum to create a 3-dimensional building model and were used for the application to the National Register of Historic Places.
